Hi, I’m Nathan

You learned early how to survive—reading rooms, staying quiet, staying strong—while carrying pain that was never meant to be yours. Even now, your body remembers, holding fear, shame, or loneliness in ways that make everyday life feel harder than it should. These responses aren’t signs of weakness; they are signs of intelligence and adaptation. Like many of my clients I survived childhood and religious trauma. I now am a Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner serving Longmont, CO, and supporting individuals throughout Denver, Boulder and the Front Range, both in person and virtually. My work focuses on healing childhood trauma, religious trauma, anxiety, and depression through a somatic, trauma-informed approach. Today, I integrate fifteen years of therapeutic experience with lived understanding to help others reconnect with safety, self-trust, and compassion.

Religious Trauma

Religious trauma can leave you feeling afraid of your own thoughts and instincts—carrying deep shame, anxiety, and a lingering sense that you’re somehow wrong for simply being yourself.

About Religious Trauma

Living with anxiety is like your mind and body never fully power down—constantly scanning, bracing, and preparing for problems that haven’t even happened.

About Anxiety

Childhood Trauma

Childhood trauma lives in the body as a constant undercurrent of tension — a part of you staying on guard and waiting for something to go wrong even when your life appears safe on the outside.

About Childhood Trauma

Depression is a heavy fog that drains energy, dulls joy, and makes even simple tasks feel exhausting and far away.

WHO WE ARE

We believe adventures in the outdoors allow people to connect in ways they’ve never connected before. The wilderness offers the chance to unplug from the busyness of our culture and find solitude for healing and reflection.

We believe in experiential learning, a kind of “learning by doing” where our shared experience leads to reflection, discussion and discovery.

We believe in caring for each other’s souls. Soul care is a gentle process of listening, asking questions and carefully walking with people into the challenging areas of their lives.
