Hi, I’m Nathan, Director of Deep Water
You learned early how to survive—reading rooms, staying quiet, staying strong—while carrying pain that was never meant to be yours. Even now, your body remembers, holding fear, shame, or loneliness in ways that make everyday life feel harder than it should. These responses aren’t signs of weakness but signs of intelligence and adaptation. Childhood trauma can shape the foundation of your life, teaching your body to hold fear and shame long after the danger has passed. Through gentle somatic, trauma-informed care, we help you notice body sensations, regulate overwhelming emotions, and practice safety in the present so stored stress can begin to release. Many people who reach out still struggle with feeling safe, worthy, or settled inside. At Deep Water Soul Care, you’ll receive compassionate support informed by over 15 years of specialized trauma training and deep experience helping people heal the lasting effects of childhood wounds, offered in Longmont and throughout the Denver, Boulder, and Front Range areas, virtually and in our offices and nature. Our hope is to offer a steady, caring space where your story is honored and you can rebuild self-trust, find relief from anxiety and depression, and begin to feel at home within yourself again.
